I had the opportunity to sit down with Catherine Lu, Associate Producer of Houston’s The Front Row on Tuesday (along with local performance poet, Joe Palmore) to discuss my second book, The Wishing Tomb. It was a wonderful experience that I won’t soon forget!
The interview, which included me reading one of my poems from the book, aired today at noon on KUHA 91.7, will re-air tonight on KUHF 88.7 (both are NPR affiliates). If you don’t live in the Houston area, a podcast will be available shortly here.
In conjunction with this interview, I will be reading this Saturday, August 4, at 2 PM at the McGovern-Stella Link Neighborhood Library as part of Houston’s Public Poetry Reading Series. I will have copies of both of my books (which you can buy here and here if you’re not in the area), which I promise to sign with sweet nothings of appreciation 😉
